Hi Everyone,

I am planning to do some employee engagement activities, as all our members are working from home. They should not get bored at home while working. Also, we are planning to do something for employees' family members who are helping or working for us during these sensitive days, such as police, nurses, doctors, cleaners, government officers, etc. Please suggest what we can do for them.

Another consideration is, once the office reopens after the lockdown, what kind of precautions can we take for employees' safety?

Dear HR workforce,

We have collaborated on an amazing song for engaging people with some Women IIM alumni (link given below). Everyone was in different places, and most of them were non-singers, yet full of enjoyment and integrity. Take a look at the final video, and consider planning something similar for your employees to help them realize the power of music. And of course, all of us are bathroom singers!

If you would like to learn more about it, please call 7597500400.

Hi,

In this pandemic situation, it is important to engage your employees. It's our duty to provide the best employee engagement services to our employees so that they should be happy and motivated. There are various strategies to engage your employees, such as recognizing their hard work, providing flexibility to remote employees, and encouraging them for knowledge sharing. We need to take precautions while rejoining the office after lockdown. We have to ensure that no one engages in handshakes or touches any surfaces. Don't share food with anyone or eat outside food.

Hi all,

Now, as the lockdown is transitioning into the unlock phase, it is imperative to take all the necessary precautions for the employees. This will help keep the employees motivated to return to work, knowing that the organization is prioritizing their safety. Since the pandemic situation is expected to persist for some time, ensuring employees' safety will lead to effective and efficient work performance.

Thank you.

the most crucial part for all the organizations worldwide is to focus on their employees’ well-being, as well as to keep them engaged and motivated while continuing to work remotely. Due to the spread of the pandemic, there has been a dynamic shift in working patterns, in India and across the globe. The workplace, for most people if not all, has changed from corporate offices to their homes. Even with things returning to ‘normal’ in some parts of the world, work-from-home (WFH) seems to be the new norm. Giants in major sectors have announced WFH until further notice and many companies are considering moving a part of their employee base to a permanent WFH model.

With this novel concept of ‘long-term WFH’ coming into the picture, the erstwhile model, which was all about physical presence in office and face-to-face communication, is being challenged. Leaders are summoned to reimagine work in a way that can fit into people’s lives seamlessly, without hampering their well-being and productivity. On the other hand, measures of performance and rewards are also undergoing a shift. Adapting to these changes will require efforts from both the employees’ and the employers’ side...https://rplg.co/bcf3b5d0

HR team are facing a tough time in connecting with the employees working remotely. Current situation has not given any choice to the employees other than attending virtual or remote meetings to keep themselves connected to their organization.
HR departments are conducting online engagement programs with an intent to make them stay business engaged is a good idea. HR teams should keep a validated record but also need to document and take the actions on the proceedings. With that said, they not just have to keep a track of the employee activity, but also need to share the minute of meetings with the employee. I have recently started using a meeting assistant, Marsview Notes that helps me to stay on top of employee’s update, recruitment actions, managing team’s conversation, centralized notes, and more – in one place. It’s a free tool that can collaborate with your meetings. You can try it here: (https://notes.marsview.ai)
