The guy who took the interview was not HR at all; he was the production manager. This firm deals with software development. Guys, abuse means only abuse. I don't think it is appropriate to write here the famous F-words related to mom or sis. Then he said he will beat him with his shoes. This had happened.
Hi all,
It doesn't happen usually, but still, it happened. A friend of mine went for the interview for some software development post. He was being abused during the interview. So, considering the above true, I want to know what action can be taken against the concerned HR. Shall we contact the regional labor commissioner for this issue?

Hello Sandeep,
Suggest providing the facts of the case/situation rather than a judgmental view of the whole thing. By doing so, you can expect more accurate and relevant opinions from the members.
A case in point is: you used the word 'abused'. That's the way you look at it; maybe not others or maybe they will too--but leave it to the others to arrive at any conclusions. Unless you give full details of WHAT HAPPENED, it's tough for anyone to give you the right feedback.

I second TS, please provide complete details so that we all can offer the right feedback and solution to the problem. Without mentioning the name of the company and persons involved, you can state what is being referred to here as ABUSE.

Dear Sandeep,
Please make it more precise and provide complete details. Do you want to take action against the HR or the people who interviewed? I am sure the person who attended should have had some respect for himself. Why did he wait and listen to all the words used by the interviewers? He could have responded and given them feedback. Nobody is inferior. Both the company and the employee will benefit from this hire. For a job, we do not need to lose our self-respect. I think it is too late now. At certain times, instant actions are very much required rather than a delayed thought process. Whether the HR person is aware or not is also a question.

Hi,
I request every friend of Cite-HR to give a detailed description of the situation that you seek to discuss and get it resolved. Only then it becomes easier for other members to provide their thoughts and suggestions on the same.

I believe in simplifying the whole process instead of complicating it. One can simplify the whole process when detailed information is available on hand.
I agree with you, Mr. Babu.
