Hi,
I am new to this forum. I have to make a case study on my own working experience, so I need your help. Following is my working experience:
I am currently working as an HR Trainee in a paint manufacturing company. I was recruited a year ago and was initially asked to handle recruitment. After a few days, I was to handle the HR Generalist profile. Later, I was given administration responsibilities. I work at the branch office in Vasundhra. The CEO frequently visits this office and stays here for 5-10 days in one of the rooms. After 2-3 months, he instructed me to take care of the whole office, including housekeeping. I was shocked as, despite having completed my PGDM in HR, I was assigned this kind of job. However, as I did not have other job options, I handled it.
Later, I discovered that the CEO lacks character and is involved in politics. He is unprofessional and treats his employees like servants.
After 6-8 months, a new sales head for the north zone was appointed, and the CEO recommended me for back-office work to the sales head. Consequently, I was assigned all sales coordinator duties. Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to leave the job and search for a new one. However, not finding a satisfactory option, I opted to switch to academia to pursue a Ph.D. in management. My parents also suggested I pursue an academic career for my future as a female.
I have an offer from a college to join as a lecturer, but I need to create this case study of my work experience.
I kindly request all of you to help me create this case study and provide suggestions on what I should do.
I am currently working in this unprofessional company.
Kindly email me at "its_deeptiteotia1987@yahoo.co.in".
Thank you.

Dear Deepti,
Greetings for the day ahead!
Before moving on to making a case study, let me tell you that if you don't stand up for yourself, nobody else will. Your job profile kept changing because you allowed it to happen, and to make an excuse that you had no other option (I say excuse because there are plenty of opportunities available in the market, you just need to be ready to go through the grind of job search). The crux of the story is if you are feeling uncomfortable in your present assignment, then you must drop it.
As for the case study part: That's a basic thing taught in MBA. You should have done it yourself. The approach can be:
1. Take a hypothesis - i.e. Dilemma in your case - Whether to leave or not to leave your job.
2. Give names to the characters which describe your work setting and incumbent problems and situation.
3. Analyse all the ins and outs through various incidents and characters.
