Hi, Dear all,

Please find the Maternity Benefit Act, 2009, Land Acquisition (Amendment) Act, 2008, followed by the Indian Divorce Act, 2009, National Security Act, 2009, and Dowry Prohibition Act, 2009. These are pieces of legislative drafting - some new laws and some revised editions of existing laws. They should not be presented in courts as they are mere legislative drafts, not existing laws.

    Thanks, Everybody,

Enthused by the responses, I am planning to start a website posting all my laws that you find here and start an interactive session with people so that they can improve their legislative drafting skills and enter parliament with confidence in being skilled in the art of lawmaking. I hope all of you will visit that website. I shall provide information about that website in this forum.

    Thanks and regards,
    Chandrasekhar.

I have already designed the website to some extent in Microsoft Office Publisher, but I am waiting for the forums to be designed. I have given the task to a web designer. In the meanwhile, you can see the portion of the web design done in Publisher in the attachment.

Use Ctrl+click to view linked pages.

    Regards,
    Chandrasekhar.

"The difference between respect and sycophancy is that we respect others for what they are, and when we respect others for what we expect from them, it becomes sycophancy."

Let us hope the Congress party will realize it.

There are different types of sycophancy. I think even an employee respects an employer for what he expects from him (salary) rather than for what he is. That can be pardoned. Regards, Chenna

Some people are sitting pretty by accumulating properties for lasting even 10 generations ahead. When they expect others to fulfill their greed and ambition, that kind of sycophancy cannot be pardoned at all. On the other hand, people like you and me engage in sycophancy to fulfill our basic needs. Otherwise, we might die of hunger if we don't display that kind of attitude towards our bosses, employers, etc. I believe both these types of sycophancies must be distinguished from one another.

    Regards,
    Chenna
