If you want to stay in a generalist role and simply enhance your career with SAP, then you should choose a regular study center. SAP is vast, and any institute will only teach you the basics. No institute can provide you with real-world experience or practice on live projects. It's simply not possible.
Currently, the market is favorable for experienced SAP professionals, but not for freshers in SAP. Even with about 4 years of domain experience, you would still be considered a fresher in SAP... :(

The salary package for a fresher in SAP would be not less than 3,00,000 per annum. However, discussing salary is not relevant when there are no job openings for freshers in SAP in the current market situation. It is advisable to check back after October 2010. 😊
