Nice post. However, an employee engagement initiative will be more effective for the long term if there is a clear and concise communication process, consistent recognition of employees' efforts, and timely grievance handling.

What is primarily important for all HR professionals and top management is to determine the extent of employee engagement (long term or short term)?
