Hi Everyone,
I'm applying for a position as an HR Executive at Infosys. I need some help in relation to that. Could anyone please assist me by providing information on the type of questions that may be asked in the interview? I have been working as an HR Generalist for an IT firm for the past year.

Hi Kalpana,
Greetings.
I have attached a sample of recommended interview questions and answers that are basically asked in almost all interviews. Could you kindly provide me with details of the work you have done as an HR Generalist? I need to know more about it. Document attached.

Dear Kalpana,
One of my college friends recently got an offer as an Executive HR at Infosys, Hyderabad Manigonda Campus. When I asked her about the interview, she said it was as normal as any other company; they will be conducting around 5 rounds of interviews. This is the information I could provide you with.

Hi Dhamotharan,
I am presently working for an IT firm that is a subsidiary of a US firm. I handle all HR activities and some of the admin activities here. My responsibilities include recruitment, leaves, attendance, and payroll processing.
I am currently pursuing a PGDBM in HR alongside my work. Therefore, I do not have extensive experience in this field.

Hi,
If it is an HR Business Partner opening, then the first round will be a written test. Questions will cover topics such as mathematics, logical reasoning, and English, similar to a typical MBA exam.
During the interview, the focus will be on employee engagement activities, induction processes, exit interviews, appraisal methods, and grievance handling.
Hope this information is helpful. Wishing you all the best.

Hi Giri,
I haven't been advised about the exact role, but just to be on the safe side, I want to be fully prepared. As I'm working as an HR Generalist, that's why I thought they may ask such questions.

Hi Kalpana,
I am working with a consultancy firm for 6 months as a Tele recruiter cum HR executive, and simultaneously pursuing an MBA from Symbiosis. However, I want to transition into various HR functions like a Generalist Profile. I read through your post and learned that you are also pursuing a PGDBM. Please suggest to me how I can make a move into a generalist profile (even as a trainee). Kindly advise as soon as possible. I am eagerly waiting for your reply.

Hi,
I got the opportunity a year and a half ago to work with a startup software firm, so I handled all the HR activities there, which gave me valuable experience. I received this opportunity through a friend, so my suggestion to you is that while you are currently employed, continue to explore other options. Upload your resume on Times Jobs and consult with some recruiters.
Hope this advice helps.

Hi Kalpana  !!
First of all, I would like to wish you congratulations for getting an interview call. An interview call is the first step, and the second is clearing the interview. I'm attaching some files of interview tips; hope it's going to be useful to you. After you give your interview, make sure you share your interview experience with all the CiteHR members.

Hi, the best way to crack an interview is to be honest with whatever is asked. When you are not lying or faking, you will naturally be confident. Today, technical knowledge is not the primary requirement; confidence is key. So, go ahead and do your best. All the best.
