Hi, I have been working since 2013 and I have a UAN number. I'm using the same. In 2017, I joined another company. Within 2 months, I left that organization due to a culture issue. Unfortunately, they allotted another UAN number, which was unknown to me. When I joined my current company in 2018, instead of being unaware that I had a new UAN and not being aware of UAN rules, I gave my old UAN. Recently, I left the organization and after 3 months, I am trying to claim PF settlement due to an emergency. I came to know that I have 2 UANs. However, I am using the 1st UAN, which has 2 PF Member IDs, and the 2nd UAN (only 1-month employed) is also active.

Please provide a solution to claim the settlement in a clear process as I am in an emergency situation.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

When joining a new employer, you should have provided the UAN that was already available. Additionally, if there is an active UAN in existence, a second UAN cannot be created. I am not sure how the second employer managed to create it?

The current process requires you to deactivate the first UAN. To do this, you must transfer the PF from the first employer to the second employer, which will result in the deactivation of the first UAN.

Hi,

If the details are correct in both UANs, then simply fill out Form 13 online. If the details do not match, then first correct your details and then fill out Form 13 Transfer claim.
