Hi, can anyone help me in this regard? I am trying to exit the member from the Unified portal of EPF, but it is showing an error like "Date of Joining is missing." As I have checked, I realized that there was no Date of Joining (DOJ) given during the UAN process. Now, it is not processing without the DOJ of UAN. I tried to edit the employee data, but I couldn't find anything to edit the data. Kindly help me on my way to get it done.

This will not affect the employee's decision to join elsewhere or the withdrawal process. However, for your employer's side safeguard, download the whole database, input the missing details, and submit a request letter to the EPF office for an update of the missing details. (Ensure that the same is in accordance with your Form 9 register).

If KYC was submitted earlier with DSC via OTCP employer portal, then look at that copy where the relation, gender, and DOJ were mentioned in a row. If the same does not match with your form-9 register, then you can file a grievance online, enclosing that document as proof or record.
Kindly update the DOB on unified portal through Member registration Bulk tab and then upload exit option. It will work. We have done successfully.
