I worked for a company for 6 months where I only received an offer letter, and my salary was paid to me in cash. I started the job in January and left it in June due to an exam. When I left the job, I resigned with a verbal agreement, and there was no need to provide a resignation letter, although the offer letter I received mentions a notice period of 1 month. I also did not sign any contract during my time of joining the company and was not provided with a letter of joining. Furthermore, I did not receive any kind of experience certificate or salary slip as my salary was given in cash. The only document I possess is the offer letter, which outlined the terms and conditions and payment structure of the company.
Now, I have secured a new job by including the 6-month work experience on my CV. However, if the new employer requests documents for verification related to my previous company, I am unsure how to proceed as I do not have any documents other than the offer letter.

What do you expect to do? You have to simply tell the new company the truth that you do not have the documents and the company didn't give you any.
I am also pretty sure you didn't deposit the money in the bank, so you don't really have any proof that you actually worked for the company. At best, all you can do is speak to them and get a letter confirming you worked for them.
