Dear Yes if worker got injured in his hand and not able to do Bio metric punch and by default Bio metric is not working in those case you have to maintain attendance register for workers

Even though you are maintaining biometric attendance, you have to keep manual registers for Labour Inspector inspection. Otherwise, you have to seek exemption from them to maintain the records in soft copy or to obtain a printout from the biometric system.
