It's possible some offices insist on the submission of all originals, including the death certificate. There is no other option if the insurance, Full & Final settlement purpose such originals are insisted upon and for proper compliance. Moreover, it's not difficult to obtain more No. of DC from the local/municipal authorities to apply and obtain more No. of original certificates if prescribed fees are remitted as stipulated.

Some offices might insist on a translated English version of the duly Notarised DC (if the local authorities used to issue DC in vernacular like Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Hindi, etc.). Therefore, it would expedite claim settlement if the DC is issued in English.
