- Leave rules (as per applicable act whether S&E Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.)
- Sexual Harassment of Woman Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- The Employees Compensation Act
- CL (R&A) Act, 1970, or CL (R&A) Central Rule, 1971
Since yours is a manufacturing company which may involve hiring personnel through various sub-contracts, CL (R&A) Act, 1970 is also applicable. You have to take care of the commercial and legal agreements with the petty contractors (manpower, security, transport, housekeeping, etc.) and timely renewal of such agreements. You can check the statutory compliance of the petty contractors as well on a monthly/quarterly basis.
