Dear Members,

Please, if one can guide me on "how to pay ESI contribution in case some months the company has no work or if labor has escaped or left the company." I am an entrepreneur who recently started contracting work. I am facing labor issues as stated above. In this case, how can I manage ESI and EPF when I currently do not have any labor? Kindly guide me with easy steps to manage ESI myself. You know, ESI consultants charge a significant amount for minimal assistance. I appreciate your help.

Hi Wasique,

You have to submit a report/letter to the concerned ESIC department on the company letterhead stating that the following months have had no contributions from any employees. Please also mention the reason for this in the letter.

Thank you Pradeep. Noted your information. But... Is there any way that we can do this online on ESIC web portal. Appreciate your help. Wasique Hyderabad
