Hi Friends,
Greetings!
I want to suggest to our company's management that we have off on each or alternate Saturdays. How can I do the same and what points or matters do I need to present to them to convince them? Please guide.
Thanks,

1. Why do you want to provide more/additional time off?
2. How will it impact productivity (more/less)?
3. How many resources are going to be saved?
4. What are the benefits for management in implementing this?
5. How will employees contribute more in return for that?
6. Does management have any expectations from employees in return for this?

One more to add to the list of Prashant:
How do you propose to compensate for the loss of man-hours due to these holidays falling on Saturdays? If you can provide a satisfactory answer to this question, you may be able to persuade the management, should they be open to persuasion.

If the same has to be approved by the management on mandatory, then you can say the management that we can increase 30 minutes of work time. Then they will approve.

One suggestion is to approach the problem from 'work-life' balance, much sought by Gen Y and Z workforce and the impact it has on employee productivity and morale. You can buttress your arguments with data from appropriate research studies; you will find them on the internet. One spin-off will be a reduction of office expenses towards electricity, entertainment, etc.
