Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I am working in a staffing firm. I have a query about Insurance claim for death of contractual labour. I have submitted claim in Insurance company. But insurance company require PAN card of said labour. But he had no PAN card. So, please suggest me what we have to do in this case. Will Insurance company reject the claim on the basis of not having PAN card?

Dear Member,
Insurance Company can not reject claim solely on the ground that "Deceased Employee" did not had PAN CARD.You have to submit documents of Nominee/Legal heir.Whether deceased Employee name included in Policy?

The Labourer is not a Income Tax payer wherein he will carry PAN Card, please ask the Insurance company for what reason they require PAN Card of the deceased.
