Dear Madhu,
Please send me the link act or law that mentioned spouse will claim pension if the deceased member has not completed 10 years of service. I think Labour laws are same in Pakistan and India.
Thanking you

I don't know what is there in Pakistan labour law but in India it is regulated by Employees Provident Fund and Misc Provisions Act, 1952. Under the said Act there are three schemes, Provident Fund Schemes, Pension Schemes and Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes. Of these, para 16 of Pension Schemes says about widow pension which is available to the widow of a member. It is also stated that a contribution to the pension scheme at least for ONE MONTH is required to enable the widow to get this pension.
