Jharkhand Govt issues a notification to revise minimum wages effective 26.08.2015. All previously declared VDA has been merged into new basic. Notification has been issued as an amendment of notification dated 16.06.2011.
New Basic Salary are as follows:
1. U/S (Monthly / Daily) - 6550/251.92
2. S/S (Monthly / Daily) - 6860/263.84
3. Skilled (Monthly / Daily) - 9120/350.76
4. H/S (Monthly / Daily) - 10450/401.92

thanks for the circular. But i am a bit confused, as I found another notification from Govt. of Jharkhand dated 14th august'15, on the same issue where minimum wages are different. Which one to be followed. Any thoughts. Attaching the notification.

Dear jayanta,
It is mentioned in notification that - it is replacing old notification dated 16.06.2011. If you were following that, you need to follow this. Also, 14.08.2015 notification is for scheduled employment - with having shop n establishment license. If you you are in contractual work and having contract labour license, you need to follow the notification dated 26.08.2015 only.
