Can anybody tell me if electricity can be used as a source of media? Can a personal computer be hacked? If yes, how is it done? An explanation via video or animation would be an added advantage.
Furthermore, can a phone be recorded through electricity? If yes, how?
If I am going out, can people sit in their place and watch where I am going and what I may be purchasing? Are there any such software available for this purpose?

Why do you want to know this? I would just like to remind you that hacking (keeping aside the actual term, and knowing how it is used in modern times) is unethical and can lead to legal problems. So the curiosity is why do you wish to know if any PC or any mobile can be hacked or not. Please understand that unless we know the motive behind the question asked, how are we to answer this?

Because these things are happening with me, my previous coworkers are doing this. They want me to rejoin the company. I am in a dilemma whether this is legal or illegal. I feel it's illegal. My company thinks that they aren't doing anything wrong. From their viewpoint, it is not illegal. My intention is not to harm anybody.

All things aside, to answer your queries:
1. Is it possible to hack a person's PC?
A: For a layman, it is not possible. I say this as I come from an IT background.
Hacking requires the use of many algorithms, permutations, combinations, and several other things.
2. Is it possible to trace your calls/messages/phone?
A: It all depends. Today's smartphones have a feature that automatically checks us in or at any location we go to using GPS and satellite connectivity. So, if that feature is switched on on my mobile, all the people in my network will probably know where I am.

To guide you in a simpler way, I would like to suggest the following:
1. Check your cell phone settings for such features.
2. If you have logged into Facebook or other social media sites, check for similar settings there as well.
3. If you think you are being traced by your number, change your number, and try to get a new number in the name of your father.

Dear Meena, I did give you the correct answer, only if you read it correctly. Hacking a PC is possible only by professional hackers. Therefore, your doubt that your company has hacked your PC is not convincing.
Tracing your locations via cell phones is very simple if you keep such settings on. If your settings are enabled, you can't blame others for knowing your whereabouts, as you gave permission (knowingly or unknowingly) to such software/apps to publish your locations and whereabouts. I hope you read those right and understood.
