Hi,
I have 1 year and 9 months of experience in HR. I was in a very good company, but I got this job very easily, so I could not guess the value of that job and left the company, thinking that I would get another company with a handsome salary. Now, I realize that I made a mistake and am not able to secure a desirable job.
Please suggest to me what to do next???
Thanks & Regards,
Aabha

It is not clear whether you mean 'approach' as 'influence'? Good companies and professional HRs will go only for your talent and choose the right candidate. If you mean 'approach' as networking, it helps at times in letting you know regarding prospective employers and vacancies. Please never depend upon so-called influences and unethical 'approaches'; they never lead you anywhere. At the end of the day, your abilities, talent, and command over the subject are supreme.

To acquire new skills, there are plenty of courses available in the market. For a start, learn payroll and good headhunting. These two skills will help you in finding a job very easily. No one likes to hire a candidate through "sifarish" because who is going to work then? Sifarishis have big egos, are difficult to fire, and may leak department secrets.

Dear Hussain Zulfikar,
Thank you for your input. We truly appreciate the need for suggestions from professionals, as they possess the knowledge required today and can guide new aspirants in the right direction.
Amardeep,
Is Sap HR training really helpful? Also, is there any guarantee of securing a job after completing the training?

Dear Sir,

I agree with you that a company requires skills and hard work. However, if companies do not publish any vacancies, how could we know about them, especially since no one in my family works in a corporate environment?
Even four of my friends, who lack basic HR knowledge, are employed in MNCs. It is a little disappointing that deserving individuals are sitting idle at home. Apart from that, I am aware that there are thousands of HR jobs available in Delhi, but we are seeking an opportunity where we can steer our careers in the right direction.
