Dear Seniors,

I am studying MBA-HR, final semester. I am conducting a small research on HRM-Analysis. What type of calculations are involved in the HR Department? Such as Recruitment cost, Attrition cost, Training cost, etc. How do we calculate these costs? In what areas should we calculate the cost? Please provide me with valuable inputs.

I struggle with communication. If there are any grammatical mistakes, please correct me.

Regards,
Prasad.

Hi Prasad,

1) Recruitment cost includes the time spent by HR and the panel for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as orientation trainer costs and material expenses, etc.

2) Attrition is calculated as (exits/avg (opening + closing)) * 100.

Dear Seniors,

What type of calculations happen in the HR department? For example:
- In F&F settlement process, what types of calculations are needed?
- In recruitment and selection process, how do we calculate costs?
- In the training process, how can we measure costs?

Many calculations occur in HRD. Please provide me with some input.

Prasad.
