We have not gone through any spl. provision in CL Act or BOCW or any labour laws relating to payment of additional or extra wages for working at height.

Dear Tapan,
In a PSU we have work contract and we have subcontract to scaffolding specialist. As per the terms additional allowance is paid above normal wage and to be medical fitness all time.
Some provision exist in Factories Act, I am not sure but not in CL Act or BOCW. Mr.Khola your comments awaited.

Dear Shaikh Abedeen, In my opinion Factories Act, 1948 also does not have any such provision for making extra wages for doing work at height. Regards, R N KHOLA
