Hello All,

First of all, I apologize as this might not be the right topic under which the thread could be started, but I found this to be the closest. Coming to the point, I am working in a small IT company with an employee strength of not more than 25 people in my branch office. So, I want to have some suggestions from experienced people and ideas from fresh minds for the Employee Engagement Programme. In fact, first, I would like to know how important it is and whether it really helps.

Thank you!

Yes, it helps a lot! These programs provide a way to keep the environment fun-filled and energetic; they also provide an opportunity for employees to interact with each other apart from work issues.

There is a lot of information on employee engagement activities on citehr. You can search for it.

You should celebrate birthdays, festivals, etc. You could have a small set of activities on the last working day of the week. This should not be too long to disrupt work. You should ask your seniors whether it should be done weekly or fortnightly. You could include games, quizzes, skits, etc., to make the workplace lively.

Hi Axita,

Employee engagement programs are a welcome aspect for employees. Apart from games and activities, conduct some training on soft skills that will increase energy levels, improve clear thinking, and enhance motivation for employees. You will definitely see the energy levels of employees increasing.
