Please guide me on the issue of whether a Real Estate Organisation dealing with development of residential and commercial buildings will be covered by ESI Act. I just check the bare act where nothing is specified about real estate organisation. Please provide relevant section or case if any.

The State Government is empowered to cover the establishments whether commercial, Industrial etc. Your business activity seems to be covered under the commercial establishment. You must have registered your business under Shops & Establishment Act, 1948. Hence, the ESIC will become applicable to your business. You may refer section 1(5) of ESIC Act.
