Hello HRs,

I am filling out FORM 3A (Revised) for the yearly return for PF. I have a doubt regarding how to fill in column number 6, i.e., the number of days/period of non-contributing service (if any). Which type of employees will fall under this column? Some of our labor have breaks in their service. Please help me fill in this column.

Dear Mr. Pradeep,

If any employee's contribution was not paid during the return period due to a temporary break in service, please indicate the number of days of the break in Column 6 of FORM - 3A (R). For example, if Mr. X's contributions were regularly deposited within the return period (March paid in April - February paid in March) except for July, then specify the total number of working days in July in Column 6.
