d) Shift End time

Dear Friends,
I have recently joined a new organization where management told me to ensure employees are punctual in attendance. The organization already uses a biometric machine for attendance, but management also instructed me to set up a manual attendance register at the reception for all employees to make entries. I have implemented this, but some employees have commented that it is a waste of stationery and suggested sticking to just one process in the routine. They find making entries in the manual attendance register irritating.
How should I convince them?
