Hi all,

I want to know if a company (established under the Bombay Shops and Establishment Act) delays paying the employees' salaries by more than 12 days, what can the employees do about it? Is there any compensation or something the company should provide to the employee for such a salary delay?

Kindly reply urgently.

Thanks and regards,

Can anyone tell me what Trade Refuse Charges are under the Bombay Shops and Establishment Act, 1948? Why are they levied, and is it mandatory for all companies seeking renewal of a license under the act to pay them?

Dear Rajiv,

As per my knowledge, you can register under the director's name, and you can also register under the company name. Managers/Directors are responsible for the organization. They should submit their Photo ID Proof and Resident Proof.

Hi everyone,

Ms. Yogita,

I was reviewing the policies you've attached, and it has been mentioned that SL will not be carried forward. To my knowledge, SL is carried forward and will lapse after a maximum limit of 90 days.
