I definitely agree with you on your viewpoint of the state of B-Schools and their faculty. However, in the same breath, you took a dig at the fellows who tried to answer the query by comparing them to the infamous doctor (if I am not wrong). "What can't be cured must be endured." The kid is asking the difference between PPT & Induction, which shows his/her immaturity or background or the lack of knowledge. However, by discouraging him/her in the way that you have done, a career-in-making will be undone. It is always valuable to receive admonishment from a senior person like you, but in my opinion, a forum like Citehr is also meant to educate those people who have failed to learn during their studies.
