I am an MBA HR 2010 graduate from the University of Pune. I have been searching for a job in HR generalist or HR trainee roles for the past 6 months. Despite having a strong academic background and good knowledge of HR concepts, I have not been successful in securing a job. Time is passing by, and I am feeling the pressure to make a decision. HR consultancies would be interested in freshers and they always have openings for recruiters. It would be a good start with recruitment. It is tough to get generalist roles upfront.

Don't go for a salary package, don't go for a multinational company. First, get any job, gain some experience. Only qualifications can't provide a good job; it will depend on both your qualifications and experience. In HR, you should have at least 4-5 years of working experience. Try to contact your nearest placement company.
