Thanks for the update. Please check on the Bonus Act amendment. In my opinion the wage ceiling still remains at Rs.3500/- and eligibility for receiving bonus is Rs.10000/-.
Kindly correct me if my statement is incorrect.

Thanks for sharing, but please clear following amendment.
1-Raising the PF EDLI Limit Rs.1,00,000/- from Rs.60000/- or Rs.102000/- from Rs. 60,000/-
AND
Effective date is 09/09/2010 or 18/06/2010
2- A sper my concern Bonus ceiling Bill Rs 3500/- to Rs.5000/- was submited in parliament in attached notification is it passed or not, if it has been passed please share the passed notification.

As per latest amendment in Bonus Act, the salary ceiling is 10000/- beyond which one is not eligible to receive bonus under Bonus Act and for those drawing salary bet 3500/- to 10000/- bonus will be calculated at 3500/- only. Means max bonus @20% a person can earn is Rs.8400/- per annum. Earlier this was calculated at 2500/- meaning the max bonus @20% was Rs.6000/- per annum.
The list by Niraj is a good attempt but needs updation under various Acts. Lot of changes are coming everyday, and it is really becoming very difficult to keep track. Anyway, good attempt Mr Niraj.

I am reproducing amendment you mentioned is in correct.
"The Payment Of Bonus Act,1965 Bonus amount is to be computed on the wages ceiling of Rs.3500/- Now the Bonus amount is to be computed on the wages ceiling of Rs.5,000/- 27-Oct-07"
The proposed bill no 15 of 2010 is for proposed amendement, is yet to be passed by the parliament.
THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT IN SHORT ARE AS FOLLOWS:-
1) MAX. SALARY CEILING IS INCREASED FROM RS. 3500/- TO RS.5000/- PM
2) APPLICBILITY -- BASIC+ D.A. IF ANY RS 10000/- TO RS 15000/- PM
3) MINIMUM BONUS PERCENTAGE-- FROM 8.33% TO 11%.

but I think the amendment in Bonus Act which you mention that the wage ceiling for computation of Bonus is amended from 3500/- to 5000/- but as far as my information its only a bill to be presented in house till not passed.
