Hi, I am from charitable trust looking after HR dept. We have more than 50 employees. Right now we have not taken PF no. I have heared that charitable trust can be exempted from PF act. Pl guide.

If you have trust and are exempted by the EPF department, then there is no need to obtain a fresh EPF code. Otherwise, you should be aware that PF is applicable to 20 employees, and it is likely to be applicable to 10 employees. The bill for the amendment is pending.
