Whenever you are talking about industrial re-engineering, it is somewhere related to the redesign of your systems in your organization. Whatever you have designed in your organization for its effectiveness in the past, the conditions are different as per the present scenario. Therefore, redesigning your organization for improvement purposes is known as industrial re-engineering.
For example, in the past, you had no option other than an xls file, so you were maintaining all your organization's data in an xls file. However, now the conditions have changed, and with the concept of re-engineering, you have realized that there are many office software options available in the market. You can implement these software as per your desire so that your system becomes faster and more accurate. This will result in increased profits and more customers as well.
So, this process is known as industrial re-engineering.
