Hello,

Caution: You may not be able to use your own (your sister's) consultancy's services if you decide to go for a recruiter profile in most of the organizations as it may be considered unethical or a conflict of interest.

For the question you had asked: Yes, you should mention the work you have done, regardless of whether it was for your own consultancy. If you have done it, you deserve to mention it in your profile.

Regards,

Madam,

I am K. Hemalatha. I completed my graduation in BSc (MSCS) in the year 2003-2004, and I have worked as a customer care representative for more than 2 years. Currently, I am interested in pursuing an MBA (HR) from this university. I would like to know if I am eligible for this course. Additionally, I have taken the ICET-2008 exam, and I am curious if this rank would provide me with an advantage. Lastly, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with details regarding the fees.

With regards,
Hemalatha

Think positively. You have proved your leadership in building a team and leading them.

Running a consulting business, no matter how small, is a task that you have successfully accomplished.

Please note, I was never an HR person, but today, I own a company called www.swasthiksahits.com.

Hi,

I am a new member of citehr. Already, I feel like I have learned a lot in just one day. Looking at the postings here, I would like to inquire and get feedback from you on the following.

I am a Malaysian citizen, educated in India (both school and university), and have been working in Malaysia since my graduation. I have a total of 18 years of working experience (around 5 in HR areas) and over 12 years in IT (projects and project management). I would like to relocate to India because the opportunities are abundant, I am seeking exposure to a different working environment and culture, I am looking forward to a potential regional role, and I can engage in my other passion, Carnatic music, alongside my professional career.

The information I am seeking includes:
- How to target and secure the right jobs in India
- What salary and benefits I can reasonably expect
- What preparations I need in terms of work areas and exposure
- Whether it is possible to obtain a work permit/employment pass for myself and my family to live and work in India

While I may not have a Master's degree, I have significant working experience in IT and HR fields. Please advise. I am looking forward to some valuable feedback.

You can also email me at venki_ram_mal@yahoo.com.

Thanks and best regards,

Hi Dear,

Don't give up on what you have planned and started. You can improve by gaining more contacts for your business; the key is to have trust. If you are still considering pursuing a job, then you should appoint a suitable person and actively search for jobs. Engaging in all work-related activities will provide you with valuable experience.

Dear Vinod,

It would be better if you could continue to work in the consultancy and improve it, rather than looking for a job. Alternatively, you can work as a recruitment specialist, hiring specialist, HR coordinator, etc.
