Dear Hari,
The PPT is excellent. Believe me, I'm desperately searching for T&D PPTs, and I found yours. It's really helped me a lot. I am an HR professional working with one of the leading entertainment media companies. Please help me with some more if you have something related to media. Even that would be helpful.
Once again, thank you so much for your beautiful PPT.

Very practical presentation. To me, training is the real education as it is focused on specific skills instead of knowledge gathering. The knowledge that gets stuffed into our heads need not necessarily translate into functional skills.
In one slide, the Microsoft Excel vs. Microsoft Publisher example is given; much of education is like that - stuffing of blind knowledge instead of focusing on the required skills for which training is required. Gallup Corporation says that only trainable or talented employees should be trained, which is true and that's why the saying "Education is what you are left with after you have forgotten what you have learned." That is because that is what you began with as that was the innate or intrinsic talent.
Someday in the distant future, skill-based training shall replace conventional knowledge-based education.
