Dear All:
A subsidiary of the prestigious Godrej group is looking for a Manager
Human Resources based at Mumbai (corporate office). The position would
report to the Vice President HR of the company.Looking at someone with
7 to 9 years exp in general hr/recruitment,and would the steer the HR
function in a sort of an unstructured environment. Would be required to
build in the necessary systems and processes. The organisation is
poised to grow 100 % this year, from the people perspective, and the
incumbent would essentially build the HR function to manage that
growth, by builing the necessary systems and processes as the growth
happens.
Please refer this to those in the fraternity who could be keen on a
good role in Mumbai
Thanks, Warm Regards

Dear HR team,
I am currently working with XYZ company on a third-party payroll, and I am planning to take a short leave for personal reasons. I have informed my HR team about my intention to take leave, but they have informed me that while they will grant me leave, it will be marked as LWP (leave without pay) as per the company policy.
I am feeling confused as I believe I should have the right to take leave without it being unpaid. I work in a manufacturing company where the only day off is Sunday, and I work throughout the week without taking any personal leave. I am a full-time employee at XYZ company.
Could you please explain to me why this leave is considered LWP? They have mentioned that I only have Sunday as a designated day off.
I am wondering why I am not entitled to any other leave or benefits. I would appreciate it if you could share your insights and experiences with me and guide me on how to proceed.
The email I received from the employee was as follows. He mentioned his desire to take leave without any deduction from his salary.
Thank you for your assistance.
