No,
There is no site like citehr and moreover we do not need also because there should be only one center point for all of us to meet and discuss.
We genuinely not interested in joining anyother forum.

Hi,
I think you have mis understood my post, there is no comparison here, no one is comparing the sites, it is just a learning forum as we have for legal people, CA's and other professionals, and there are other hr forums too, there is no harm in knowledge enhancement is there?????

Even though there are lot of HR Forums but please do not put it here. I am not misunderstanding you but I am just trying to close the topic here. I love CITEHR and its formers, this is my respect to this forum that made me to say that.

Dear Mr.Shah,
Kindly do not get emotional, infact i came to know abt cite hr thru one other forum, you can always not look at this post if you do not feel like but can you ask someone else not to know abt things if you personally do not like it
I expect you to understand and kindly do not look at this post if you are not interested and dont feel positive abt it, there would be lot of other professionals who would like to know details on the same topic.
Moreover if someone becomes a member of one site it is becz of its material and importance, so i would not stop coming to this site ever, neither would others.
i hope everyone who looks at this site is matured enough
regards

Some where along I read the background of the gentleman who commenced the site. I have not been able to trace the same today.
Nevertheless, I recall hazily, that, as an employee in a certain organisation, he was asked to work out data of some Manpower Planning, and did not find adequate gen on the same.
He then had to rough it out to dig out the details and commenced working, and did.
Somewhere there he determined to have a system, in which the knowledge on HR shall be freely and readily available for HR professionals in particular and all others in general. Obviously, the intent was to see that the others do not suffer, where he did. We need to perceive this to be a WIN WIN situation.
This CiteHR is a boon to us by one who is committed to the freedom to acquire and spread knowledge. Surely we shall work against the very spirit of the Promoter of this CiteHR, if we do not whole heartedly come to the assistance of each other.
We are blessed that the site is free for us, and that we can download any material that we require for our benefit, that of the organisations we serve with, and the society that we live in. It shall be in fitness of things that we all work in this spirit.
Spread of information availability of such other forums, shall only benefit, the professionals, and consequently the society as also the organisations.
The usual trend of keeping knowledge close to the chest, is certainly not a Long Term trend
It is a foregone conclusion that the same shall only be appreciated by the promoters of OUR CiteHR
As per my info, there is an HR Forum in Delhi, and NIPM in Kolkata, nevertheless, am not clear if they have well developed websites that readily facilitate the spread/ availability of knowledge.
I do get some mails from Yahoo HR Forum, and Yahoo Six Sigma, however, have not been able to be comfortable in handling and gaining from them.
Further, with my requirements for HR matters are readily met by the communication on this site, and consider my self blessed.
Warm and Cordial regards all, :)
