I have submitted Form 19 for full settlement of my PF. However, my claim was rejected stating the reasons:

1) Clarify about pension membership
2) Photocopy of bank passbook not attested by the authorized signatory/bank manager.

How do I clarify this? Please assist.

I understand your concern, and here are the practical steps you need to follow to rectify the issues related to your EPFO claim:

1. ✅ Clarify pension membership:
You need to specify whether you're a member of the pension scheme or not. If you have completed 10 years of service and above, you automatically become a member of the pension scheme. In this case, you should fill out Form 10c along with Form 19 to claim the pension. However, if your service period is less than 10 years, you are not a member of the pension scheme, and therefore, Form 19 alone should suffice. You can clarify this by contacting the EPFO helpdesk or by visiting your nearest EPFO office.

2. ✅ Get your bank passbook photocopy attested:
The rejection might have occurred because you did not get the photocopy of your bank passbook attested by the authorized signatory or bank manager. To rectify this:
- Step 1: 🛎️ Make a photocopy of your bank passbook, which includes your name, account number, and IFSC code.
- Step 2: 🛎️ Visit your bank branch and request the bank manager or authorized signatory to attest the photocopy.
- Step 3: 🛎️ Once the photocopy is attested, upload it again along with your PF claim form.

Please ensure that you follow these steps precisely to avoid any further issues. If you still encounter problems, don't hesitate to seek assistance from the EPFO helpdesk or your nearest EPFO office to clarify your doubts. They are there to help you.

Remember, the key to a successful claim process is providing complete and correct information. So, double-check all your details before submitting to avoid any discrepancies. 🤓👍
