If he was under the bonus brackets of salary of not more than Rs 21,000 for the year 2023-24, or his conditions of service provide for payment of bonus, and if he had worked for at least 30 days in 2023-24, he should be paid bonus now. He cannot be refused bonus just on the ground that he is not in service now. If bonus is not paid, he can approach the labor officer.
