Hello experts!
Happy New Year to you and your Family!
Can someone help me with HR Employee engagement calendar from Jan 2024 to Dec 2024 which includes various important days to celebrate and if possible few ideas to celebrate. For time being Jan -feb would do- this help us to derive HR Budget to include under engagement section. Your support will be highly appreciated.

Dear Shreeya,

Creating an HR Employee Engagement calendar is a great initiative for boosting morale and fostering a positive workplace culture. Here's a basic outline for January and February 2024, including important days to celebrate and some ideas for each:

January 2024:

New Year's Day - January 1:

Celebrate the start of the year with a team breakfast or virtual toast.
Share goals and resolutions for the upcoming year.

Appreciation Day - January 24:
Recognize employees with personalized notes or small gifts.
Conduct a virtual appreciation ceremony.
National Fun at Work Day - January 27:

Arrange a virtual game session or a fun team-building activity.
Share a laughter-inducing video or organize a joke-sharing session.

Republic Day - January 26:
Organize a diversity and inclusion workshop or speaker session.
Encourage employees to participate in community service.
February 2024:
Groundhog Day - February 2:
Organize a "predict your goals" activity for the remainder of the year.
Share fun facts about groundhogs to lighten the atmosphere.
Valentine's Day - February 14:

Encourage a virtual Valentine's card exchange among team members.
Share love-themed playlists for a positive, musical atmosphere.
Employee Appreciation Day - February 23:

Host a virtual awards ceremony to recognize outstanding achievements.
Implement a "praise wall" where colleagues can publicly appreciate each other.
Leap Day - February 29:

Encourage employees to take a "leap" by sharing career development goals.
Arrange a virtual workshop on time management and productivity.
Remember, these are just suggestions, and you can tailor them to fit your company culture and the preferences of your employees. Additionally, you might want to consider periodic check-ins and surveys to gather feedback on engagement activities, helping you refine and improve future initiatives.

Thanks,
