Respected sirs, I have opted for a higher pension, but there are no records in my establishment from my date of joining, which is 1993. Even though my pension starts from 1995, all these records are not there. The only records available are from 2008 in the PF passbook. Kindly advise on how to go about this; your advice will be of great help.
Thanks and Regards.

If your employer has been contributing based on a salary above Rs 15,000, this should be evidenced in Form 3A for past periods and the ECR for current periods since the system became online. If these records are not available, ask the concerned person in the office to prepare a statement for each month and submit it to the EPFO. It is the employer's responsibility to file it. Please note that if you have selected the option for a higher pension, this will be reflected in the employer's portal as a demand from the EPFO to upload the statement of payments (higher contributions) for each month.

Thanks for the reply, sir. I came to know that when our establishment got relocated, all the above documents were lost during the transit. How should I proceed from here? I have opted for a higher pension, and the portal shows approval pending from the employer. When enquired, we got this information. Please advise.
