Whether hospitals in places like Pune, Mumbai, etc., having a capacity of more than 50 beds are covered under the ESI Act? Some managements of such hospitals claim to provide medical treatment to employees either for free or at concessional rates. Hence, the query.

Actually, my query is -- Whether hospitals in places like Pune, Mumbai, etc., having a capacity of more than 50 beds are covered under the ESI Act? Managements of such few hospitals say they offer medical treatment to employees either for free or at concessional rates. Hence, the query was asked on 31st August 2023. The same remains unanswered yet. Someone, please clarify. Thanks in advance.
