What is the leave policy for start up in Bangalore with 7-10 employees.

Hi, you need to follow leave rules based on the Act your organization is governed by. If your office comes under the purview of the Shops and Establishment Act, then you need to follow leave rules as per the Shops and Establishment Act of your State. Else, if your employer is a manufacturer, then you need to follow leave rules as applicable under the Factories Act. But in both cases, the total employee count should be 10 and above.

IF your organisation is Factory then EL is applicable as per the act If its Shops & Commercial Establishments then EL 1 leave for 20 days & 10 SL per annum is applicable

Thanks for the reply , our company comes under Shops and establishment act and we wanted to implement leave policy in our organisation . Right now there are 7 employees in our organisation.
