Dear Sir,

I had given my resignation during the notice period as per the offer, where 2 months notice is to be provided. I am following the company's terms and have given a 2-month notice period during probation.

Sir, the company has a bad reputation when it comes to resignations; even if you serve, they may not pay your money and final settlement. I have contacted 6 of my former colleagues from this company, and they mentioned that the company is unlikely to pay you even after serving the notice period. The company in question is Ricetec Machinery Pvt Ltd. I submitted my resignation through email, and it has been 2 days, but there has been no response from the company. Kindly advise on what steps I should take. I intend to honor the notice period, and the company is obligated to pay my salary, expenses, incentives, etc.

Sir, please provide guidance 🙏.

Thank you.

Your employer has a bad reputation in terms of treatment towards resigned employees. You have resigned from service during probation, and hence a two-month notice period has to be served. If the company fails to pay your salary, you may need to initiate legal proceedings in the matter. Threaten them with legal action and start legal consultation for the same.

From your post, one can easily infer that your company is resorting to unfair labor practices. Since you have already submitted your papers, you wait patiently for a very smooth exit by collecting your relieving order and final amount. If your company is not complying with the separation clause as an "Employer," please lodge an online grievance with Telangana Labour Dept., by using the following link. Share your full name and address, Labour registration certificate number if any, with the authorities.

Sir, the site you provided does not have an option for resignation. Is there a specific government portal for Telangana state, or could you please provide the email address of the Labour Commissioner of Hyderabad to address my concern?

Thank you.

Santosh,

You have not disclosed in what capacity of employment you worked in the company - as a workman, supervisor, or manager? The statutory method of grievance redressal depends upon it only.

If you were employed in the capacity of a workman, then you, as well as others so affected, can file a claim before the area Labor Court u/s 33-C(2) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. In any other case, file a civil suit against the company for breach of the contract of service, claiming damages and costs.

Sir, I'm working as a sales officer for this company. It's an 80-100 manpower-based manufacturing company. They will exploit all loopholes in the HR system and target resigned individuals. Some ex-employees have even received threats from the police. The police have called them and accused them of cheating the company, demanding their presence at the station.

Recently, a senior manager resigned, but his 45 days' pay was not released. This situation is very disheartening as the manager put in a lot of effort to elevate the company. Additionally, they have not paid salaries to resigned car or vehicle drivers. Every month, they change helpers like kitchen staff or tea suppliers. It's crucial to understand the company's attitude.

Sir, I seek complete support from this platform to combat such fraudulent practices.

Sir, seeking help. Kindly, the company has not responded to my resignation. It's already been 3 days, and I had even reminded them once, yet no reply. Could you please guide me on how to approach the labor commissioner through email?

Thanks a lot,
Santosh.
