Understanding Leave Policies in a Pharma Company

Hello! I am working as an HR Admin in a Pharma company. Ours is a proprietary concern. Recently, I had a discussion with my boss about the leaves of Salesforce employees. He mentioned that all leaves are as per PF rules. Is there any such thing as leaves according to PF rules? He is saying 11 CL, 11 SL. Is it correct?

No. EPF Act has no role in defining employee leaves. Based on your business, leave rules shall be frames based on Factory Rules, Shops & Establishment Rules.

I think that being a Pharma company, the Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1976 will apply. The leaves to be granted, hours of work, etc., have to match the act and the rules.
