Dear All,
While facing a audit from LEO we have received one notice from the Labour department which is stating that our company has not submitted / Intimated Form A under Payment of wages act (mines rules 1956) section 2A.
[2A. Notice of opening, abandonment, discontinuance, reopening and change in the ownership and addresses, etc.—}
While going through the said rule and act we have observed that the form is responsibility of PE. But LEO said this should also be submitted by contractor company.
In case who is the actually responsible for submission for the aforesaid Form.
Your solicit input will be highly appreciable and helpful.
Regards
