I applied for 15 days of leave and informed my manager. I also emailed him regarding the same, mentioning that I have more than 30 days of leave balance. However, my manager only approved 7 days of leave, marking the rest as Leave Without Pay (LWP). Additionally, HR sent me an absconding email without prior notification or contacting me. Furthermore, the company did not pay me for the days I worked. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving these issues.

Leave refused to be sanctioned and intimated in advance can be treated as unauthorized absence resulting in proportionate loss of pay (LOP); but by any stretch of imagination, it cannot be treated as abscondence.

Please bring this matter to the attention of the functional head. In communications of this nature, it is essential to specify your employment category, such as supervisory, workman, etc.
