Morning all! I need your help as the hiring manager has asked me to prepare a market analysis of an open position because it requires a combination of multiple skills, and very few profiles are available in the market. I have to present some statistics and numbers to them so they understand the challenge and may consider reducing some skills from the job description, which will help me close the position faster. If anyone has something prepared in the past, please share it with me.

Dear Rahul,

If the skill sets are unique and there is a scarcity of candidates because of the uniqueness or diversity, why not try to recruit employees from competitors? While market analysis is a good and formal route, it can be time-consuming. Hence, the suggestion.

Thanks,

Thank you, Dinesh!

I completely agree with you, and I have already started doing that. However, here the UK counterpart is involved, and they need this analysis for expectation setting on the hiring timeline. Since there are only two positions, I am also fine with a basic format. I don't need a complicated one where I have to put in so much effort to collect the information. If you have any, please do share.
