Who has completed 10 years of EPF contribution service and is 50 years of age is eligible for a pension. There are 2 types of pension:
1. Reduction pension: Individuals who have completed 50 years of age and 10 years of EPF service are eligible for a reduction pension.
2. Those who have completed 10 years of service and are 58 years of age will be eligible for PF pension.
You can apply for pension with Form 10 D if you have completed 10 years of service but do not yet have 50 years of age and have left employment. You can opt for a scheme certificate. For the scheme certificate, you should apply with Form 10 C, keep the certificate with you, and claim after reaching 50 years of age.
