My company has deducted the April month salary by 10 to 20% for every employee. However, the management is not reflecting this deduction on the payslip. This deduction is calculated based on the monthly CTC deducted from other allowances. Kindly advise.

I hope you have been working from home during the lockdown period and tried to complete the given assignments.

The employees can file a complaint against the unannounced deduction and claim payment, either individually or preferably collectively.

If no action is taken, then send a reminder after a week with a copy to the concerned Labor Inspector.
