These certificates or courses are just for knowledge purposes where the content is entirely research-oriented. However, when it comes to recognition, India needs to go a long way to vouch for this type of courses. Please make it a point that it's not my intention to hurt anybody with my replies; the fact is a fact.

Well, it depends on individual-to-individual thought process, an activity of two sides of the same coin: Learning via positive or negative.
Negative: The sad part is that many of us have never tried such difficult evaluations or failed hence we tagged them NOT OK.
Positive: There are many organizations which have started recognizing and considering the people who have invested time and money to upskill themselves.
“Who would say not to relevant and updated resource”
Look for the positive side of it as nothing will happen until unless we do something. Always keep yourself in recruiter or management shoes and understand the concept of upskilling and the value of it.

When it comes to resume selection, it is all about 'keywords'. Depending on the course you have taken, you will have a greater chance of selection, even if it's an online course.

During the selection process, you will be asked application-based questions relevant to your field. Your ability to answer these questions will be based on how effectively you have utilized your acquired knowledge.

Recently, I interviewed a person who had completed a course in cognitive behavior therapy from Udemy. When I asked her some application-based questions, she displayed a lack of knowledge about them.

Therefore, it doesn't matter where you obtain your knowledge from; what truly matters is how you apply it and how you respond to interview questions.

XLRI has a high level of recognition. However, there is a difference between a proper degree/diploma course, full-time and part-time programs, and classroom training versus correspondence. So, I do not think there is a single straightforward answer.

The replies given are true. However, one thing is clear: India recognizes only degrees and diplomas from recognized universities. That's the paradoxical situation prevailing.

It is better to opt for courses that are research-oriented and corporate-specific, which are ultimately useful for your career. Ultimately, everything boils down to receiving the right or proper compensation.
